Mister Peele Services California’s Second Zero-Carbon Home

You may remember in August 2021 that Mister Peele was the luxury property management company given the responsibility of servicing California’s first zero-carbon home. The $32 million home was part of the MariSol Malibu Zero Series, a collection of four zero carbon homes nestled between the Santa Monica mountains and the white-sand Pacific beach. Each one is designed to meet the exacting standards of the Paris Agreement and Kigali Accords.

We’re delighted to announce that Zero Two, the second in the series has just launched, and Mister Peele has once again been entrusted as the luxury property management company.

Zero Two, the zero-carbon home

Zero Two is a $29.5 million home, measuring 16,489 sq ft and set in a lushly landscaped estate with six bedrooms and 11 bathrooms. Furthermore, it pushes the limits of low carbon construction even further than the first in the series. That’s because it’s the first home in Southern California to voluntarily meet the requirements of the Marin County Low Carbon Concrete Code. By reducing concrete emissions by 42%, Zero Two has created an environmental impact equivalent to removing roughly 40 gasoline-powered passenger vehicles from the road per year.

Zero Two and Mister Peele

There’s plenty to keep Mister Peele occupied. The main house has a home theater, tennis court, putting green, bocce ball court and a spa with a California Redwood sauna and a steam shower. Outside is just enticing as inside with a 170-foot-long lanai wooden deck, a home gym with yoga deck overlooking the gardens, and a sleek outdoor pavilion with a lava rock water vapor fireplace, infinity pool and views out onto the expansive Pacific Ocean. The stunning grounds will require extensive upkeep to maintain the organic fruit orchard, vegetable garden and apiary for honey.

Importantly visitors to this sustainable palace of luxury will have an equally enthralling time relaxing in the guest house. They can walk to it via a glass bridge that’s suspended over a tropical creek.

We are delighted to be a trusted and continued part of the sustainable revolution across California’s luxury property landscape.
